How to explain a Treasury Manager to your child

A Treasury Manager takes care of a company's money—making sure there's always enough cash to pay for the things the business needs, like supplies, salaries, and bills. They sit at a computer checking bank accounts, moving money between different accounts, and talking to banks about loans or interest rates. They use spreadsheets full of numbers to predict how much money will come in and go out each week or month. For example, if the company needs to buy new equipment next month, the Treasury Manager figures out where that money will come from.

This work matters because without someone carefully watching the money, a company might run out of cash to pay the people who work there or to buy the materials they need to make their products.
